Logy Bear Golf Tournament

Get your clubs ready and join us for a day of fun on the greens - open to golfers of all skill levels.  Enjoy friendly competition, connect with fellow players, test your golfing abilities, and make new friends along the way. Mark your calendars and get ready for a memorable day supporting the LL12 Foundation!

The tournament will be a Captain’s Choice format with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA. Enjoy a day of golf, course contests, raffles, food, music, and prizes for the top three teams! More than just a day of golf, this event supports the LL12 Foundation’s mission to empower and uplift students throughout the region.

Day at-a-glance

7:30 a.m. - Check-in

Check in, enter raffles, purchase mulligans, string and throw shots.

9 a.m. - Shotgun Start

1:30 p.m. - Lunch & Awards

Lunch will be served as teams complete the course. Awards and raffles to follow.

LL12 Foundation’s Mission

The LL12 Foundation,a nonprofit 501(c)(3) founded by Michael & Michelle Koontz in memory of their son, Logan Scott Koontz, provides financial aid for student athletes. The foundation supports athletes with scholarships, equipment, and camp fees and educates teens on safe driving. In 2025, five scholarships of $1,000 each were awarded to students and $3,000 provided for athletic equipment for high school and college players thanks to the generosity of our donors, sponsors and tournament participants.

In memory

Logan S. Koontz, a student athlete at Tabb High School, tragically passed away in a car accident after the homecoming dance in October 2019. He loved life, church, family, cruising, the American flag and sports. Logan excelled in JROTC, football and track, achieving various honors and accomplishments.
